Installing the administrative web application

Kasai comes with a bundled web administrative application, once installed, it allows you to manage users, groups and roles, as well as browse the audit records. It requires only a web browser (tested on Internet Explorer 6 or later and Firefox 2.0 or later) and it's heavily AJAX based so its quite light and friendly.

Once you have installed Kasai (see Installation for details), the only thing you need to do is deploy the bundled WAR (kasai.war) in your application server (we recommend Tomcat 5.0 or later) and place the Config.properties and Messages.properties file within the application server CLASSPATH.
